Trucking for a Cure raises Over $75,000 for Breast Cancer

A special thanks to the donors, and the participants who came dressed in their best outfits, ready to pink out their trucks. With your help, Trucking for a Cure continues to be one of the largest community fundraising event on behalf of CBCF.

New to the event line up this year was the introduction of a site in Prescott, Ontario. A CBCF Logospecial thanks to the Mayors and people of Prescott, Brockville and Woodstock, for allowing the convoys to take on new routes through the towns. With your hard work and dedication over $75,000 was raised for the breast cancer community. Thank you. We couldn’t have done it without you!

With your support, CBCF is the largest funder of breast cancer research in Canada. In August 2014, CBCF-Ontario Region awarded $7.9 million in 27 new research projects and fellowship awards. From engineering cancer-killing designer viruses and harnessing the power of the immune system, to testing a safe and existing drug for a new use in breast cancer treatment, every breakthrough in research brings us closer to our goal of a future without this disease.
